The Vocal Ensemble Course in English VEC is a joyful, low-pressure musical theater experience for youth in Lima. Whether you're new to performing or simply love music, this one-month course invites you to explore ensemble singing in a supportive and energetic community.
Each week, you'll build your confidence through group vocal exercises, harmony work, and musical storytelling. Along the way, you’ll also learn new English vocabulary and communication skills naturally—just by singing, moving, and connecting through music.
The course wraps up with a short in-class performance in English to celebrate your progress. Join us and experience how fun, creativity, and community come together through singing!
Schedules and Requirements
Start Date: Saturday June 28
Class Dates: June 28, July 05, 12 & 19.
Repertoire: songs from Hamilton, In The Heights and Moana.
Schedule: 11am - 2pm
Requirements: No experience in performing arts required.
Basic English is recommended but not required.

Instructor
Musician by profession. He graduated from the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences with a Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Music Production. He has been in the world of musical theater for ten years, working as Vocal Director and band in more than 10 productions. He is a Voice Teacher certified by New York Vocal Coaching and is currently studying a Master's Degree in Musical Pedagogy at the International University of La Rioja.
He is a certified Voice Teacher through New York Vocal Coaching and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Music Pedagogy at the International University of La Rioja.
He currently works independently as a voice teacher, vocal coach, and music producer, in addition to being a singing teacher and Vocal Director at Spotlight since 2021. He has instructed in all of Spotlight’s Musical Theater productions to date.
